For the National Arts Awards, hosted by Americans for the Arts, I developed a cohesive suite of event materials, including invitations, RSVP cards, a program book, banners, and signage. The visual system was grounded in the organization’s established color palette and refined to reflect the tone of a formal arts institution.
Incorporating design elements inspired by the award-winning abstract painting, I translated its expressive, colorful brushstrokes into a unifying graphic language. These elements were thoughtfully applied across print pieces to create a sense of movement and continuity, echoing the spirit of the artwork while guiding the viewer through the event experience.
